Introduction.
The Optic is designed to disappear into daily life. It captures privately, syncs to your vault, and avoids unnecessary interaction while worn. The manual focuses on the few moments when direct device handling actually matters.
Initial setup.
Wake the device from shipping mode, pair it with the Legocia app on the same local network as your Vault, then confirm your recovery key storage. Recording does not begin until pairing and key custody are complete.
LED status codes.

| Solid white | Standby and ready. |
| Pulsing white | Recording is active. |
| Solid red | Battery is critically low. |
| Flashing blue | Pairing mode is active. |
Factory reset.
Hold the power and shutter buttons together for 12 seconds while the device is docked. A factory reset clears local pairing state but does not remove archives already transferred to your Vault.
Battery care.
For best long-term health, store the device partially charged when unused for extended periods and avoid leaving it on the dock in high-heat environments. The dock is designed to handle routine top-offs without requiring user intervention.
