RF Exposure Information

Product Safety Compliance

The Legocia Optic is designed, tested, and manufactured to comply with the limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States and the Council of the European Union.

Specific Absorption Rate (SAR)

SAR refers to the rate at which the body absorbs RF energy. The SAR limit for wearable devices is 1.6 watts per kilogram (W/kg) in countries that set the limit averaged over 1 gram of tissue, and 2.0 W/kg averaged over 10 grams of tissue.

Device Model FCC Limit (1g) Highest Reported Value
Optic (Gen 1) - Model A2049 1.6 W/kg 0.08 W/kg
Optic (Gen 2 Prototype) 1.6 W/kg 0.12 W/kg
