Memory is fallible. We forget faces, promises, and moments that define us. For centuries, we have used tools to augment our memory—writing, painting, photography. But in the 21st century, these tools were hijacked.

Cameras became tools for broadcast, not preservation. We started recording our lives not to keep them, but to perform them for others. The resulting data was sold, mined, and used against us.
